whilst i love those 6 people, does it always have to be about the meaningless sex that may or may NOT develop into real feelings and commitment? seriously? is that what is going on inside everyone's mind? because i know that these sitcoms are supposedly microcosms of life, but...seriously?! it's always about instant gratifications, and it's rubbing off on this generation more than i had thought. although technology has helped, too...is it really the norm?!
to have to go through all these meaningless dates and relationships, whilst waiting for THE ONE, seems to basically be what the 10 seasons of "Friends" encompasses. and it's kind of disappointing...i mean, yeah there's a bunch of hilarious stuff - but in the end, it's empty FILLER for life.
please, someone prove me wrong!!!
also, mega pissed off about missing the orientation sign up for the earliest date just because i am FAR AWAY in hong kong and had to finally realize too late that i had to use HOT SPOT SHIELD to not make the internet connection freakin time out.

aww i love them too! but i think at some point they sort of portray out how some relationships are in real life
as the ross-rachel thing happens a lot :\
meaningless dates just reminds me of wonwon and lavlav..
and while im on that! (re:) yes it's totes okay, as long as we get to see won won and lav lav together
with the smexy snape :)
I don't know, if you want your life to turn into a sitcom, you can try what they do
otherwise don't
@phantomFive - thanks, i feel so very enlightened. *_*
I am Mr. Enlightenment. *_- The thing that bothered me most about them is.....they never changed. Monica always was a clean freak, Ross always stayed a dork, and Joey never learned to keep his pants on (or a job). It's ok to not be the best, but at least you should try to improve a bit
@phantomFive - now, actually that is quite true. i mean, i guess they didn't learn to deal and improve because they were stuck in their circle or friends most of the time where they had no need to grow...due to the somewhat unconditional positive regard they held for each other. perhaps the writers felt it would break up the troupe to have them improve...and break up the show. perhaps they were stunned that it went on for 10 years. it's not exactly a soap opera, but there are those stock characters like the clean freak, the dork, the slut that work - so why change it, right? actually, i'm not quite sure what i'm on about.
Yeah, it's almost if the entire purpose of their lives existed for entertainment.
I'm kind of curious which one you call the slut.....Joey? haha
yeah! joey definitely. i kinda think chandler woulda wanted to be a slut or at least get around, too.
